Following a successful feasibility study and bond election effort in November 2010, the City of Provo commissioned the team of VCBO and BRS to design this 162,000 square foot comprehensive recreation center. Provo Mayor John Curtis encouraged the team to create “the best recreation center in the West” to enhance the quality of life of Provo residents. The result was an out-of-the box recreation experience making it the largest recreation center in Utah.
