Echo Ma

The sky is the limit!

Echo was born and raised in the Northern part of China, Shandong (which means “east of mountain”) province. She moved to the states when she was 18 to pursue her undergrad degree in studio arts. During the four years in a liberal arts college, Echo developed a fascination with philosophy (continental and postmodern philosophy), history, and math. This led her to take an interest in architecture, which is entwined with politics, anthropology, arts, science and philosophy.

With great enthusiasm for mountains and mountain-related activities, she decided to move to Denver, the Rocky Mountain region, after graduating from architecture school – where she did her master’s thesis on Alpine Architecture.
