Oak Grove Softball Complex

Grapevine, Texas

In 2016, following the success of the newly renovated Oak Grove Baseball Complex, the City of Grapevine decided to enhance their Softball Complex just a mile down the road. Their previous complex had only three fields and the facilities were outdated and in need of repair. The new complex includes four fields, a new concession stand and restroom building, a maintenance facility with a yard for bulk material storage, and increased parking.

The City wanted to maintain the brand they had established at the Baseball complex so BRS and the landscape consultant, Valley Quest, worked together to match materials, colors, layout, and facility design between the two complexes. The concession stand has two windows for servicing guests, a universal restroom, an umpire’s office, a storage room, and water fountain with bottle filler (a must for hot Texas summers!).

The maintenance facility and bulk material storage is located on the edge of the park and is used by park staff to maintain the facilities. The maintenance building has a restroom, two bulk storage bays, and a small break area for staff. The surrounding complex has 6 batting cages, four fields with dugouts and a playground for siblings to enjoy!
