A reclamation gem sited in close proximity to Hall Park and the Suisun City Library, the Kroc center provides worship and performing arts education, family life and personal development, and recreation opportunities to the underserved residents of Suisun City. Originally built as a city-owned recreation center and then leased to the YMCA, the property was purchased by The Salvation Army in December 2009 and has been converted into a state-of-the-art worship, community, education and recreation center.

The building includes a 299-seat theater and 130-seat multipurpose event space for banquets, meetings, weddings and community events. The center’s recreation offerings include a double-court gymnasium, climbing wall, fitness and weights area, spinning studio, aerobics dance studio, locker rooms, family changing rooms, natatorium with four-lane-by-25-yard lap pool, training pool and whirlpool spa. The family life and personal development component houses a lounge, short-term child watch room, party room, café and commercial kitchen. The project complies with the State of California Green Code for sustainable design and energy efficiency.
