Katie Barnes, AIA

Principal, Managing Partner

According to Mark Twain, Katie has never worked a day in her life, as architecture is her lifelong passion.

As the daughter of an architect, Katie came early to understand what it takes to be a good one. Excellent design instincts, innovative management systems, and gifted people skills are part of her DNA. As a Partner and Principal, she divides her time between marketing, project management, and the development of project management systems. Katie has played a key role in the firm’s recreation practice and is also involved in a variety of other public building types. There is nothing she cannot do once she puts her mind to it. Whether running projects or marathons, she is always at the top of her game.
