The community’s existing recreation center was built in the 1960’s and was in need of an update to offer residents the best in community recreation. Sited on a 67-acre campus, the facility had plenty of room to grow to accommodate more programming space and updates to fitness and aquatics areas.

Major Improvements
Amenities: The updated center has dedicated space for childcare, party rooms and community rooms, vending machines and new locker rooms with dedicated family locker rooms.
Natatorium: The existing pool and sauna are replaced with a modern aquatics space featuring a three-lane, 25-meter lap pool, a lazy river, aquatic climbing wall, waterslide, whirlpool spa, sauna rooms and aquatic play features.
Gymnasium: The new gymnasium nearly triples the size of the existing gym and includes two full-size courts with equipment storage and an elevated three-lane, walk-jog track
Fitness: With the addition of much-needed space for cardio, free weights and exercise equipment, the new fitness center is connected to the indoor track and will open up to views of the outside and gymnasium.
Our team worked with the City and citizens to develop a program to meet the needs of the community and stay within the project budget. To minimize the loss of revenue during the process, the expansion and renovation was planned to keep as much of the existing building functional and open during construction.
