Improvements include two leisure pools—one with water basketball and the other with a lazy river, deep-water diving area and wave machine that generates two-foot-high simulated ocean waves—a tot play structure with interactive spray features, concessions, lockers, a bathhouse and party pavilion rentals.

A second building was added for ticketing, staff and concessions. A bouldering wall has also been proposed for the site. The citizens of Brighton are excited about their new outdoor family aquatic park.
