The Splash at Fossil Trace

The Splash is located on a 25-acre recreation campus between the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and Golden’s Table Mountain. It has a large leisure pool complete with body and tube slides, and a play area with tipping bucket, tunnels, water guns and a spray feature. A splash pad, which intermittently sprays geysers, borders a sand area for building castles and general play.

An eight-lane, 25-meter competition pool will be the site of future competitive events. The pool has dedicated lap times for the general public and a competition-style one-meter diving board. Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture designed the park so that additional features, such as a lazy river and slide tower, could be added in the future.
