Temple Emanuel

Renovation & Addition

Temple Emanuel, a prominent synagogue in a well-established residential neighborhood in Denver, was in need of an addition of a small 250-seat chapel and new administrative offices. Additionally, it required renovation of classrooms to accommodate a K-3 school during the week and religious education classes on weekends. The strong architectural statement expressed by the original building made the addition especially challenging. The completed addition blends seamlessly into the character of the original building.
