Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse

Forged for those who never stop

Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse will be a place where adaptive athletes can train for outdoor sports. Designed in partnership with Pivot North, J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation, Mission43 and Challenged Athletes Foundation - Idaho.

The 7-acre campus will be a one-of-a-kind experience in Idaho, bringing together post 9/11 military and their families with adaptive athlete members of Mission43 and CAF to support member programs.

The design team, with advice and direction from members, have been purposeful in designing every detail of the Fieldhouse to align with member needs and preferences. It will specialize in training athletes to recreate in the outdoors, but some members can choose to take a more competitive journey with their training, including preparing for the Paralympics. Athletes can train without any caveats with peers and, in the process, make friends to accompany and motivate them when they take their activity outdoors.

Among other amenities, the main Fieldhouse building will feature an aquatic center, a gymnasium, performance fitness areas, conference rooms, equipment room, a welcoming area, and a climbing wall. It will include about 46,000 square feet of space with a connection to Boise's Barber Valley.

Other parts of the campus will feature short-term housing for visiting members using the facility and its programs and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) wellness center for members with injuries.
