Fossil Trace Golf Maintenance Building

The clubhouse and maintenance building at the Fossil Trace Golf Club were part of the final phase of the city of Golden’s new recreation campus. This phase included a 7,600-s.f. golf course maintenance facility and a 9,400-s.f. clubhouse. The maintenance facility is a pre-engineered steel building set on a concrete slab on grade, housing the golf course maintenance operations, including conditioned and unconditioned spaces.

Key activities accommodated at the facility include seasonal equipment conditioning, vehicle maintenance, shop activities and staff breaks. Storage of a variety of commodities used for operations as well as weather-sensitive vehicles is also accommodated. The facility is sited to allow convenient access to the golf cart path system and roadways while being screened from view from the clubhouse and golf course.
