Erie Community Park

Feasibility Study + Design

The Erie Community Park project is the Phase 2 continuation of a large, 43-acre city park for the town of Erie. Phase 2 is envisioned as a gathering place for all ages within the community. Outdoor entertainment, festivals, markets, expos and competition sports along with day-to-day play and leisure activities will all be possible with the design features planned. This phase creates opportunities for programming use by the adjacent community center, library and larger community.

Key features include an amphitheater with lawn, limited structured seating and signature structure; destination play space inspired by natural wonders throughout Colorado; a skate park designed to accommodate multi-wheeled use by diverse abilities and age groups, along with recreational and advanced competitions; landscaped gardens and seating areas; group and single picnic shelters to accommodate rentals, day use and specific town programming; wayfinding and interpretive opportunities; and expanded parking facilities.

The town of Erie and surrounding communities are excited about this phase of the Erie Community Park.
