Cortez Family Recreation Center

At 46,200 s.f., the Cortez Family Recreation Center is the crown jewel of the Parque de Vida, the largest park in the Cortez Parks and Recreation Department system. The design takes it cues from old Spanish-mission-style architecture, reflecting the region’s Hispanic, Native American and Anglo influence.

The new center is the pride of the city of Cortez and includes a leisure pool and separate six-lane lap swimming pool, climbing wall, gymnasium, multipurpose room, babysitting room and two racquetball courts. A fitness area and walking/jogging track are located on a second floor.
