Arvada Police Community Stations Prototype
As part of the ongoing pursuit to serve the Arvada community, Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture completed a quick planning charette to develop a prototypical police substation in 2009. The initial plan provided for two substations to serve the northeast and western sectors, with a potential third substation to be developed as demand required. This approach is consistent with overall population trends within the city and with the police department’s commitment to working closely with and being accessible to the community it serves and protects.
In 2012, BRS was selected to provide full design services for the initial two Arvada Police community stations.
