Carla Madison Recreation Center - Topping Out Ceremony

The mayor and our team celebrated the last beam being placed on the future LEED Gold facility.
ContinueOn December 14, 2016, the City and County of Denver held a topping out ceremony for the new Carla Madison Recreation Center, an approximately 62,000 SF facility that will provide greatly needed recreation opportunities to a currently underserved population in central Denver. The five-level, LEED Gold certified facility will include a leisure pool, 8-lane lap pool, gymnasium, fitness areas, community gathering spaces, classrooms and outdoor amenities. The new center is expected to open in October 2017.
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, Allegra "Happy" Haynes and Denver Parks and Recreation representatives sign-off on the final beam.
