Castle Rock’s The Move Breaks Ground

BRS celebrated the groundbreaking for the Move Castle Rock on Friday, March 12th with White Construction Group and tenant co-owners DGS and Where Food Comes From.
The Move project brings a fresh new architectural style to Castle Rock, with intentions to provide modern industrial office space to cutting edge start-up companies wanting to remain in downtown Castle Rock. The eco-friendly four-story office building takes advantage of the best views in Castle Rock with operable garage doors and balconies on three floors. The first two floors will provide public parking to the revitalized downtown district, including plug-ins for electric cars. A photovoltaic array on the roof will offset 20% of the building’s energy use.
BRS’s design team, which included Frank Buono, Andrea Cunningham and Melissa Dalgetty, attended the groundbreaking and witnessed the drone-delivered champagne celebration. Tim White, owner of White Construction, received the teetering champagne bucket from the drone and proceeded to pop the top in front of the crowd of excited Castle Rock community members. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed pizza and beer provided by local companies: Granelli’s Pizzeria and Rockyard Brewing Company.
