AFTER 22 YEARS AT BRS, SUE MAGUIRE RETIRES…?

May 25, 2018

Today we bid a fond farewell to Sue Maguire, Senior Associate and Proposal Manager extraordinaire. Sue joined BRS in the summer of 1995, and in her nearly 23 years in the Marketing group, Sue has led our team through countless pursuits and has been a part of every project we have had the opportunity to work on over the past two decades.

In addition to keeping work coming in the door and keeping our marketing materials up to date, Sue has given her time to the Dog Wellness Committee and the 401k Committee and has kept our multitude of office plants alive and cared for. Her ability to wear many hats and her caring and nurturing spirit will be greatly missed at BRS, whether we are hard at work or hard at play.

Sue and her husband Tom are heading over the Rockies to settle on the Western Slope in beautiful Grand Junction. Tom will continue his career at the local Nissan dealership, and Sue will be keeping her hands busy working as a realtor and helping her daughter and son-in-law with their new venture at Mesa Park Vineyards. In true Sue fashion, she threw her own going away party for us so we could all sample their wines.

Although her “retirement” plan sounds like she will be plenty busy, we hope she has time to come visit on her trips back to practice with the Alpine Chorale for their upcoming trip to perform at the Sydney Opera House! Wherever her adventures take her, we are sure she will keep busy and keep smiles on the faces around her. Thank you again, Sue, for all the amazing things you have done for the BRS family!
