Ken Berendt, AIA, LEED AP

Ken Berendt, AIA, LEED AP - Principal

Once when Ken was asked what success looked like, he answered, “Like Humphrey Bogart at the end of Casablanca. Mission accomplished, truth prevails and you have your friends.” That’s Ken. As a principal and the “CEO of Design,” Ken’s greatest talent is his ability to quickly put concept to paper using the numerous tools in his toolbox. He leads all our work with the National Park Service and has significantly contributed to the design of recreation centers and visitor facilities across the country. Ken is skilled at orchestrating the design team to bring a project in on time and on budget. He has been a juror of the Athletic Business magazine Facility of Merit Awards and a speaker at the national conference on facility planning and design in addition to participating in the Recreation Design and Planning School in Colorado.
